Effective date: 1 July 2026 · Contact: wa.messenger.ext@gmail.com
Propar operates the WA CRM browser extension and web app (“the Service”), which helps sales teams log customer relationship information while using WhatsApp Web.
The extension reads, only while you have a WhatsApp Web chat open, the contact name and number of that chat, so it can attach your CRM notes to the correct person. When you create CRM entries (notes, tasks, tickets, deals, tags, contact fields), that information, plus your account identity (name, email), is sent to and stored on our servers. If your administrator connects a Google Sheet, the contact records for that department are also written to that sheet.
Message content. We do not read, store or transmit your WhatsApp messages in the ordinary course of using the extension. There is one exception, and it only ever happens because you ask for it: when you click “Create ticket” on a specific message in a group chat, the text of that one message (up to 2,000 characters), together with the sender’s display name and number, is sent to our servers so the ticket has something to show. No other message is read, and nothing is sent if you never create a ticket.
Privacy / blur features. The blur is applied entirely in your browser using CSS. It requires no access to message content, makes no network request, works with your internet disconnected, and needs no account. Turning it on or off records nothing anywhere except your own browser’s local storage.
Data categories (matching the Chrome Web Store Privacy Practices tab): personally identifiable information (names, phone numbers, email), authentication information (your login token), and user-entered activity (your CRM notes, tasks and any group message you choose to turn into a ticket). We do not collect web browsing history, health, financial or location data, and we do not sell or transfer your data to third parties.
Solely to provide the CRM functionality: storing and displaying your team's contact records, enforcing role-based access, and (if enabled) syncing with your connected Google Sheet.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information obtained through Google Sheets access is used only to provide the sync feature you turned on, is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not transferred to third parties except as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with infrastructure providers that run the Service (hosting and database) under contract, and with Google when you choose to connect a Google Sheet.
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database. Google refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted by your role within your organization.
You can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing wa.messenger.ext@gmail.com. Your administrator can disconnect a Google Sheet at any time, which stops further syncing.
We will update this page if our practices change and revise the effective date above.
